Intentional Communities
An intentional community is a group of people who live or meet together for a specific purpose. Antioch believes that living together with a diverse group of Christian people is the fastest and most effective way to move toward reconciliation. For that reason, we seek to start, support, and provide consulting for, groups of people who desire to live in community. See the communities page for ways Antioch is involved in intentional community living.
The Qahal

The Qahal is an intentional living community program that we would like to see implemented on college campuses around the country. The program mainly focuses on discipleship, reconciliation and leadership development. Antioch is able to serve in an advisory and coaching role for any colleges or universities interested in beginning a Qahal program or any similar intentional communities. Click for more information

Reconciliation Network

A Global Reconciliation Network emerged from the Lausanne Movement's Forum for World Evangelization in 2004. Antioch is an active partner in the Network. For more info and to read the issue group's paper go to www.reconciliationnetwork.com .

Lynn Church Directory

The first edition of The Lynn Church Directory was published in late 2004. The goal in compiling this directory was to find out what was already going on amidst the Christian community in Lynn . This enables Antioch to determine who to partner with in Lynn, to find what needs are unmet, and to encourage unity among the churches in our community.

Lynn Church Basketball League

Antioch has organized the inaugural church basketball league in Lynn ! The season began in February and will continue through the end of April. The league has been a great success thus far with eight teams competing from nine different Lynn churches. This has been a great way for the churches to interact and establish relationships across denominational lines. For more info contact Ben or see Lynn Community section.

MK Ministries of Antioch

MK Ministries of Antioch exists to bring Missionary Kids together to share experiences and resources and how they might be used by God.

W2 Missions

Theo and Nicole Williams constitute the W2 Missions team. They successfully completed a short-term mission trip to Jamaica and to Indiana in the summer of 2003. This trip was sponsored by Antioch and the One Voice church. Theo and Nicole joined RENEWED Ministries in Jamaica to run a basketball camp which focused on spiritual growth while using sports evangelism. Their time in Indiana was spent volunteering at Heroes Camp. Heroes reaches out to young men from the inner city through basketball.

As a follow-up to their time in Jamaica , Theo and Nicole were also able to discern that the young team from RENEWED Ministries was in dire need of new basketball shoes. Through the generous giving of the One Voice church and other sponsors, money was recently sent for the team to buy new shoes for their upcoming basketball season.

In 2005, W2 continued their ministry by moving to Jamaica for a year and a half mission trip. They continue to work with RENEWED Ministries using their talents of basketball, music, preaching and spoken word to minister to young people in Kingston , Jamaica. For more info contact Theo. Here is their latest Newsletter.
The Inner Court Basketball Camp

The I.C.B.C provides an opportunity for inner-city youth to experience the thrill of learning the game of basketball, while learning the game of life. A lot of what goes on at our clinic revolves around a simple equation; Opportunity + Preparation = Success. Click for more information
